Building a Joyful Community of Makers

One of my biggest dreams for Indie Love Craft is to build more than just a website or a studio space I want to build a community.

Art can sometimes feel solitary, but it doesn’t have to be. Making together, sharing ideas, and learning from one another is one of the most powerful and joyful parts of being a creative person. That’s why my focus isn’t just on teaching techniques, but on creating a welcoming space where makers can connect.

Over the years, I’ve seen how transformative in-person classes and workshops can be. There’s something special about sitting around a table with other creatives, chatting, laughing, and making side by side. You learn not only from the instructor, but from everyone in the room.

Through Indie Love Craft, my goal is to spread the love of art and making in a way that feels fun, supportive, and inspiring. Whether you’re stitching your first book, experimenting with collage, or diving into mixed media, I want you to feel encouraged and excited.

Creativity thrives in community. When we share our work, our struggles, and our successes, we grow together. We inspire one another. We remind each other that our voices and our stories matter.

If you’ve ever felt curious about bookmaking or mixed media, I invite you to join me. Come take a class, try something new, and be part of a joyful, creative circle of makers.

I can’t wait to see what you create—and I look forward to seeing you soon.
